EVENT OVERVIEW
Signing up for the Ride for Mental Health (RMH) gets you many more perks than you might realize. Not only will you have 3 curated routes to choose from, but you’ll be in great company with lots of like-minded cyclists. We’re all here to support a great cause and the stories that you share along the way will make lasting memories and friendships that are sure to last a lifetime.
Each rider will get a commemorative race bib. You’ll be easily recognized by anyone you ride by and you’ll be able to ride with your name, or the name of someone you’re riding for, on your bib. We’ll have scheduled rest stops along the way where you can refuel at a local bakery/store, or grab something from our SAG wagon. We’re lucky enough to have velofix Ottawa supporting you en route. They’ll take care of any mechanical issues and they’ll transport all the rest stop equipment so that you can travel light!
The RMH will start and end at the Canadian War Museum. We’ll have post-race massages on site and an ‘apres-ride’ for everyone to meet at afterward. We’ll also have a few surprises to announce as the event gets closer, including a timed Strava segment for anyone who wants to put their legs to the test. We’ve built a one-of-a-kind experience for you in Ottawa and we can’t wait to see you at the start line

ROUTES
RMH 60KM
A must-do for anyone in the region. It’s a loop of Gatineau Park, riding up Fortune Drive, all the way to Champlain lookout. This route is largely on closed roads so that you can spend less time worrying about traffic, and more time enjoying the ride.
RMH 100KM
This loop brings you through some of the nicest country roads in the region. It’s a scenic water-front ride out to Cumberland, before taking the Ferry over to Buckingham to tackle some hills. The route has some great rest stops planned so that you can enjoy bakeries along the way.
RMH 160KM
It’s the best of both worlds! You’ll start by riding with the RMH 100KM riders. At the 98KM mark, you can opt to cruise back to the start line or add another 62K through Gatineau Park to really push your legs to the limit.
AFTERPARTY
The Ottawa Brew Pub offers a variety of seasonal and specialty beers that are only available onsite in Ottawa!
Located at LeBreton Flats, this 177 year old building is rich in industrial heritage and charm – a unique setting to grab a pint, enjoy innovative food pairings, and even take a brewery tour.
